Yes, even more DDR4 memory news today. G.SKill launches new kits for the upcoming Intel Cascade Lake-X cpu’s and current AMD Ryzen 3000 series. Increasing the capacity to 32GB per stick (DC series, Double capacity) of RAM enables more RAM per system if you are limited on DIMM slots. In the case of Intel X299X there is a maximum of 8x32GB = 256GB of RAM. That is a lot of memory for Virtual Machines and other memory eating tasks!

The following Intel focussed kits will be released: Trident Z Royal DDR4-3200 CL16 256GB (32GBx8), Trident Z Royal DDR4-4000 CL18 128GB (32GBx4), Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 CL18 128GB (32GBx4), Trident Z Neo DDR4-3800 C18 64GB (32GBx2) and the Trident Z Royal DDR4-4000 CL18 128GB (32GBx4).

For AMD based systems, G.Skill releases the familiar NEO based kits, The Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 CL18 128GB (32GBx4) and Trident Z Neo DDR4-3800 CL18 64GB (32GBx2).

The stability and testing of these modules was done on an X299-based Asus ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore motherboard equipped with an Intel Core i9-9820X processor. The AMD testbed featured an MSI MEG X570 Godlike equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and AMD Ryzen 9 3900X processor respectively. A Bios update may be required for these 32GB modules to play nicely.
