Cooler Master introduced a new Air Cooler in their MasterAir series, the MasterAir MA620P and MA621P-TR4 for Threadripper. Both Coolers have 6 copper heatpipes connected to a large heatsink and include two 120 mm RGB fans. If two fans are not enough, you can attach a third one to the cooler and RGB controller included in the package. The controller features three buttons for changing RGB mode, color and brightness.
The RGB controller is compatible with Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and Asrock motherboards. Below we have a benchmark for you by Kitguru.
As you can see, the Cooler Master MasterAir MA620P ends somewhere in the middle of the pack, just behind the (RGB) Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi. At Roughly the same price (+/-€ 60,00) and performance, the choice is up to you. We have to agree Cooler Master delivers a complete package with the included RGB controller, 2 RGB fans, and above all making a version that is compatible with almost all CPU sockets, even Threadripper (MA621P-TR4). The Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi has our vote if we look at build quality RGB lighting implementation and the overall way it looks. Yes it is subjective, but therefore it’s nice to have more options to choose from. We included the full specifications of the MasterAir MA620P below.
