Blaupunkt has released a revised version of their Bremen car radios from back in the 1980’s. Since then a lot has happened in connection protocols, sound quality and ofcourse the addition of DAB+ radio. The original ones featured a cassette deck and an AM/FM tuner. That was it, nothing more nothing less.
The new Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 features the same style front as the old Bremen ones, but now comes equipped with modern features including two USB ports, Bluetooth functionality for streaming audio, a 4×50 watt amplifier and equalizer. We think Blaupunkt focuses on owners of oldtimers and classics that want to maintain the old-skool look of the inside of their cars. Nothing upsets me more than seeing a beautifull Porsche 964 with a Sony cd player lighting up the inside with it’s disco lights totally disturbing the rest of the classic interior.
