Today Rockstar launches Red Dead Redemption II for the pc. I played it a few times last year on my PS4 Pro but never got used to the controller. The PS4 is sold in the meantime and thus RDR2 is very welcome for the PC here at Techjunkies.nl. Nothing beats aiming with a mouse!

To get into the vibe here is the intro trailer for the pc of Red Dead Redemption 2. Compared to the Playstation game you can expect higher resolutions shadows, tessellated tree textures, improved grass and fur textures, as well as HDR, 4K resolution, multi-monitor and wide-screen support, unlocked frame rate and more.

The recommended system specs are based on the average gaming system looking at what recent steam surveys tell us, so expect to have a good gaming experience if you own a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 480. Don’t be fooled, Red Dead Redemption II can look the best if you run it will all eye candy on. We will test this the coming week with our RTX 2080 Ti with a combination of either an Intel Core i9 9900K or Ryzen 9 3900X on different resolutions. To even run the game you require at least an Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 or AMD radeon R9 280 3GB.
